This is obviously a site dedicated to 1980's horror films...but there exists quite a few 90's horror films that play and feel like 80's hold overs. They share similar aesthetics and are akin to horror films from that radical decade of excess. I thought it'd be cool to share and review some of these early 90's films that still have that 80's vibe. 

THE PLOT: 5 screams queens gather at a creepy mansion to wear lingerie, play with Ouija boards, have sex with monsters, and discuss horror films in a hot tub!

"Scream Queen Hot Tub Party" is 50 minutes of T&A from some of the hottest scream queens from the 80's. What it lacks in run time, it makes up for in gratuitous nudity. There really isn't much of a plot to review. Brinke Stevens (Teenage Exorcist), Michelle Bauer (Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers), Monique Gabrielle (976-Evil 2), Kelli Maroney (Night Of The Comet), and Roxanne Kernohan (Critters 2) are invited by Count Byron Orlof to attend an all day seminar on how to make a "good horror film".

The film is padded with footage from other Jim Wynorski and Fred Olen Ray films. "Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers", "Evil Toons", "Slumber Party Massacre II", "Emmanuel 5", and others are featured. It plays out like a softcore porn flick with stripteases, sex scenes, chainsaw masturbation, and shower scenes!

Brinke Stevens teaches us how to properly take a horror movie shower.

Monique Gabrielle does the "dance of the vampiress".  

Kelli Maroney demonstrates how to properly weight train and use fire arms.

Michelle Bauer performs a chainsaw striptease.

And Roxanne Kernohan gets raped by a monster.

"Scream Queen Hot Tub Party" is covered in 80's cheese...even though it was released in '91. This is one of those 80's hold overs. The majority of stock footage reused in "Scream Queen Hot Tub Party" is from 80's horror B-movies as well. This film was made for the 12 year old boy in all of us. I actually had a copy hidden under my bed through out my adolescence. It got me through some lonely nights ;-) Now a days, it's a fun albeit swift and exploitative little T&A flick.

"Scream Queen Hot Tub Party" includes cheesy sound FX, a group bathing, a monster rape, and a creepy painting.
